Day 1Arrival in Delhi – Your Indian Adventure Begins

Welcome to Delhi, India’s bustling capital! Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by a friendly representative who will assist you with your hotel transfer. This is the start of your enriching journey through India, and your guide will provide you with essential travel documents, a brief introduction to the country, and an overview of your exciting itinerary. The rest of the day is free for you to relax, unwind, and get ready for the adventures ahead. Whether you wish to stroll around the hotel area or rest in comfort, the choice is yours!

Day 2Discover the Majestic Contrasts of Delhi

After a delightful breakfast, embark on a full-day exploration of both New and Old Delhi, each offering a unique glimpse into India’s vibrant culture. Start your day in New Delhi, an area designed by the British and a symbol of modern India. See iconic landmarks such as the India Gate and the impressive Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s Palace). Marvel at the Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the intricate beauty of Humayun’s Tomb.
In the afternoon, step into Old Delhi, where time seems to stand still. Roam the lively lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of the most famous markets in the country, and experience the city’s bustling street life in a traditional cycle rickshaw. Visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, and the grand Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque. End the day reflecting on the contrasts between India’s rich historical past and its vibrant present.

Day 3Journey to Agra – The City of Love

After breakfast, set out on a scenic 4-hour drive to Agra. Once there, check into your hotel and refresh yourself before your afternoon exploration of this famous city. Visit the Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb, often referred to as the “Baby Taj.” The intricate marble work and stunning gardens make this mausoleum a must-see. This tomb marks the transition between early Mughal architecture and the stunning craftsmanship that culminates in the Taj Mahal.

Day 4The Taj Mahal – A Sunrise to Remember

Today, wake up early for an unforgettable experience at sunrise at the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This magnificent white marble structure, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, will leave you spellbound. The sunrise light gently illuminates the Taj, making it the perfect time to capture its beauty. After your visit, return to your hotel for a hearty breakfast.
Later, explore the grandeur of Agra Fort, a UNESCO-listed fortress that once served as the royal residence of the Mughal emperors. You will also have the option of visiting the Taj Mahal again in the evening when the monument’s beauty takes on a completely different, more lively ambiance as groups of visitors fill the area.

Day 5En Route to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

After breakfast, depart for Jaipur, also known as the Pink City, with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri along the way. This abandoned Mughal capital, built by Emperor Akbar, is a treasure trove of historical wonders. The city’s royal palaces, mosques, and courtyards remain as pristine as ever, frozen in time since Akbar moved the capital due to water scarcity. Once in Jaipur, check in to your hotel and take the evening to relax.

Day 6Jaipur – The Jewel of Rajasthan

Start your day with a visit to Amber Fort, perched atop the hills. Here, you’ll enjoy a regal elephant ride to the top, followed by a guided tour of the fort, where you’ll discover its stunning palaces, courtyards, and intricate architecture. On the way back, stop for photos at the Hawa Mahal, the “Palace of Winds,” known for its iconic façade and stunning windows.
In the afternoon, dive deeper into Jaipur’s rich heritage with a visit to the City Palace, home to the royal family and a museum showcasing impressive collections of textiles, paintings, and weaponry. Don’t miss the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory with remarkable stone instruments that accurately track celestial movements.

Day 7Return to Delhi – End of Your Golden Heritage Journey

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive back to Delhi. You’ll be transferred to Indira Gandhi International Airport to catch your onward flight, with memories of India’s majestic sights, rich culture, and warm hospitality. Whether returning home or continuing your journey, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of the country’s timeless appeal.
