After breakfast, embark on a Gangtok city tour that includes the breathtaking Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesh Tok, and Hanuman Tok – offering panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks and the city of Gangtok. Next, visit iconic landmarks such as Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Falls, the Institute of Tibetology to admire Tibetan artifacts and Thangka paintings, Orchid House, and Enchey Monastery. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After an early breakfast, proceed for an exciting excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft). Tsomgo Lake, a sacred lake, is known for its stunning beauty and serene environment. It freezes during winter, creating a magical sight. Baba Mandir is revered by the locals and has a fascinating history. Afterward, return to Gangtok. The evening is free for shopping and leisure at M.G. Marg. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After Breakfast Drive to Pelling, the charming town nestled in the lap of the Himalayas. Check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Pelling.
Discover the Beauty of Pelling: After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Pelling. Visit Rimbi Falls, the stunning Rimbi Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake (a sacred Buddhist site), Pemayangtse Monastery, and Rabdentse Ruins, the remnants of the second capital of Sikkim. Don’t miss the Pelling Sky Walk for panoramic views of Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586 meters). Return to your hotel after the tour. Overnight stay in Pelling.
After breakfast, head to Darjeeling for a day of sightseeing. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center, and the iconic Tea Gardens (outer view). Explore the Japanese Temple and enjoy the charm of Darjeeling’s vibrant markets in the evening. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
On the final day, enjoy an early morning drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 ft.) to witness a spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft), the world’s third-highest peak. En route, visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then proceed to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey. The distance from Darjeeling to Bagdogra/NJP is approximately 75 km and takes 2.5-3 hours.
The Nathu La Pass is an optional excursion on Day 3 available at an extra cost of Rs. 8,000 per vehicle and is subject to permit and availability. Please note that Nathu La Pass bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
The visit to Tiger Hill is conditional and requires a permit. Some sites may be closed due to unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions.
